Mostly my work falls into one of three series that have been on going for years. In the “Waterscape” series I seek to retain the calm essence of still water while exploring color, light and space.
The ethereal qualities of these pieces seem to be morphing into the “Within and Beyond” series. For me, the antithesis of this are “Tree Forms” in which I deal with the structure of compressed vertical tree forms, as in a forest. The “Garden Series” reflects the mesmerizing organic, complex and seemingly chaotic structures I find in a garden. These compositions tend to be more dynamic.
