This suite of six lithographs was printed in 1994. It is a limited edition 
of seventy-five signed and numbered sets. They are printed on 
Lana Gravure archival paper.

In addition, there is a limited edition of fifteen hand colored signed and
numbered collections. These are printed on Rives BFK archival paper.

The paper size of each lithograph is eleven by eleven inches. The image size
of each lithograph is six and three eighths by six and three eights inches.

UPON REFLECTION

These images are like rich little metaphors—
they are droplets of life.
I understand more about them only with time
and greater focus, much like observing a tide pool.
The format as square is significant.
It is different in that the tension within
and the “pressure against all sides is equal.
The flow of energy upon its borders has a
“circular” motion to it.
Within this square how personified can the image
become—can the distinctions within become more
subtle? How subtle? How rich can the image become—
how full, how laden with desire can it become?
Can it become so full it drips—will it drip?
There is much hidden. There is much eluded to.
They are suggestive—without a confrontation.
As such, they seem to reach out with one hand
and I realize they reflect a facet of my nature.
Personifying a part of me that likes the richness
and the tension within the square but also
wants to push past its skin and punch into hyper-space.
As such they continue to evolve.
